Allersberg and Rothsee

There’s something to discover “on the doorstep”

Allersberg Allersberg was first mentioned in 1254, and can look back on an eventful history. Owing to its favourable geographical location, Allersberg was granted market rights in 1323, which gives the town a particular significance for the surrounding villages.
This importance was highlighted in the 18th century, when the wire drawing industry was set up and flourished in Allersberg. The historical buildings, which still account for the charm of the town centre today, date back to this period, and you will enjoy walking around to explore the traces of the town’s past! Please visit our market community website to learn more about the development of  Allersberg and the lastest events in the town.

SegelnEven today, Allersberg is still exploiting its various districts, including Göggelsbuch, which is a stone’s throw from the idyllic Lake Rothsee, and now a popular holiday resort in the Franconian Lake District. Lake Rothsee is only a beautiful walk or an easy bike ride from our inn where, in addition to bathing, you can enjoy a range of leisure activities, including sailing, surfing, pedal boating, family golf, Segway trips, cycling and hiking. Or you can simply relax and unwind.
